There is a new political party in Greece called NIKI, meaning victory. It is led by a Greek Orthodox theologian turned politician Dimitris Natsios. This looks like an interesting party.

The party is new and will not win the coming elections. But it is possible for the party to enter parliament if it can get three percent of the national vote. The party is already being criticized.

Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens has criticized the party. Metropolitan Ignatios of Demetriada has said the church should unite people and not be partisan. Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis has said likewise.

Technically yes, the Church should not be politicized. However, the Greek Churches have demonstrated they are politicized by recognizing the pseudo church in Ukraine at the behest of American officials. The failure of the Greek Churches to condemn the persecution of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church demonstrates how the Church has been politicized.

Mitsotakis has no business discussing Orthodoxy considering his government’s failure to recognize American interference in the affairs of the Greek Churches. Archbishop Elpidophoros of America gave a speech to American intelligence agencies criticizing the Russian Church.

Spare us this talk of politicizing Orthodoxy. Here is hoping the NIKI party enters the Greek parliament. The party espouses Greek patriotism and Orthodoxy. Also family values. The value system that gave birth to the Greek War of Independence.

There was a brawl in Los Angeles involving Armenian and Hispanic parents vs trans activists and Antifa this week. The issue was that the Armenian and Hispanic parents do not want their children learning about transgenderism. The parents were denounced as “fascists”.

Antifa showed up for the brawl. We live in a sick country where far left radicals seem to believe they have the right to indoctrinate other people’s children with sexually explicit material. The bigger problem is the way the media is covering this issue.

Reports refer to the parents as being anti LGBT. The media makes no attempt to comprehend the position of the parents. This lack of empathy by the media and the Democratic Party demonizes ordinary people who simply want their children left alone.

One school teacher insulted the Armenians by diminishing the Armenian Genocide. These are the lunatics who are teaching in schools. What is happening is truly horrifying.

The trans activists have the support of the media and the Democratic Party. Conservatives accurately accuse them of grooming kids. What is happening to America is insane. Voices must be raised to speak to reverse this madness.

Former Greek Foreign Minister Theodore Pangalos passed away at eighty four years old. He served under Prime Minister Costas Simitis. Pangalos will be associated with bringing Greece back under Washington’s strict influence.

He will be associated with the turnover of Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan to the Turks and reversing Greece’s hitherto pro Serbian stance in the balkans. As Christians, we pray for the memories of those who repose.

President Erdogan of Turkey appears to have been re-elected President. Technically, this is not good for Greece and Cyprus. Erdogan’s threats to invade the Greek islands remain a concern.

The rise of Islam and the downfall of the Kemalist establishment in Turkey put enormous strain on Turkish relations with America and Europe, but did not bring about a complete break. This is a tremendous disappointment as the west still refuses to see Turkey as an enemy. On the other hand, the restoration of Kemalist rule in Turkey would repair Turkish relations with the west. At least with Erdogan, tensions remain.

Kemal Kilikdaroglu is more dangerous than Erdogan. He opposed Erdogan from the right and from the left. From the right, he denounced Erdogan as soft for not ending the Greek “0ccupation” of the islands. From the left, because he is a secularist and this appeals not only to American and European leaders, but to many Turkish secularists. Technically, he would probably have been less of an authoritarian than Erdogan.

But then this is a lethal mix that is more threatening to Greece, Cyprus, and Armenia. The image of a westernized Turkey did the Christians enormous harm throughout the twentieth century. Kemal the mass murderer was pro western. Adnan Menderes and Bulent Ecevit were westernized and received support from the west.

In order to maintain Turkey as a western ally, the Greeks and the Armenians were repeatedly sacrificed. Erdogan should not make us forget the previous eras when Turkey was repeatedly praised as a democracy despite its history of genocide and external acts of aggression. There really was a no win situation here.

Even so, Kilicdaroglu was the greater threat over the long term. Erdogan will probably continue to be a threat, but there will be advantages in the fact that he is unstable and unlikely to fully repair the breach with the west and Russia. Throughout his long tenure, Erdogan nearly started wars with Israel, Russia, and the United States.

This at least gives us hope that a final breach with the west is possible. A Kemalist restoration would make Turkey invincible. It would have shown that Turkey had strayed for twenty years but came back again because westernization had been too entrenched. No, the defeat of Kemalism is a good thing and the elections may show over the long term that the Turkey the west supported for decades is not coming back.

On this basis, the Turkish election results are good news.

June is going to be “pride month”. Baseball teams are going to have “pride” nights. The Los Angeles Dodgers are among them. The Dodgers invited a group of “trans” men who dress up like Roman Catholic nuns and mock Catholicism, and Eastern Christianity by extension.

When the Roman Catholic Church and its institutions protested, the Dodgers disinvited the trans “nuns”. There was no real apology from the Dodgers whose disrespect for the sacred was apparent by its public statement. After the LGBT activists complained, the cowards in the Dodgers organization re invited the lunatic group and even apologized for disinviting them.

This demonstrates two things. The trans activists have become powerful enough to exert their influence over professional sports and corporations. The second point is that the people who run sports franchises, corporations, and the media have no soul or consciences. The trans activists have taken control.

Orthodox Christians must stand in solidarity with the Roman Catholics. The cultural war we are in must not be lost. Orthodox Christians must join the fight.

On the face of it, the Turkish elections were a no win situation for Greece and Turkey. The two top candidates are fanatical extremists. President Erdogan dreams of the revival of the Ottoman Empire and had threatened to invade the Greek islands.

His challenger, Kemal Kilicdaroglu is a fanatical remnant of the Kemalist regime. His Republican People’s Party was founded by mass murderer Mustafa Kemal and was also led by Bukent Ecevit who ordered the invasions of Cyprus in 1974. Kilicdaroglu has criticized Erdogan for not invading and seizing the Greek islands.

The western media has demonstrated its traditional anti Greek bias by failing to note how extreme Kilicdaroglu is. If this man wins the run of election, Turkey could revert back to the Kemalist era. This means the restoration of warm ties between Turkey and the west.

Even under Erdogan, the west failed to back Greece and Cyprus so the situation is uncertain. It appears Erdogan manly be the lesser of two evils at this point. A restoration of Kemalist rule is the equivalent of a Nazi return in Germany.

Time will tell what will happen but Greece must prepare for the worst no matter who wins the elections in Turkey. Greece has to reverse its stance on Ukraine and adopt a neutral stance. Greece must improve relations with Russia

Greece’s blindly pro western stance has not been beneficial. The Turkish threat subsided after Greeks provided Turkey with aid following a devastating earthquake. Greece for the short term may be better off with Erdogan. Over the long term, it is hard to say what could happen.

The aggressive trans movement has finally provoked a backlash from mainstream America. The beer company Anheuser-Busch displayed the picture of a notorious trans activist on their beers while the vice President of said company insulted long time customers. The welcome result has been the immediate cessation of beer sales by angry customers.

Enough is enough. Ordinary people are sick of the woke agenda, and the trans movement in particular. American outrage at this aggressive in your face activism is overdue. This should send a message to other corporations to stop promoting trans ideology.

One thing though. Anheuser-Busch is not the worst offender. Last August, National Review published an article highlighting Major League Baseball’s support for the trans cause. This hurts for me because I am a lifelong baseball fan.

According to National Review, at least twenty teams have provided funds to groups supporting “child gender transitions”. This is horrifying and appalling. MLB needs to be held accountable in the same way as Anheuser-Busch.

Trans activists are claiming as of late to be victims of genocide. This is yet more evidence that this is a movement of lunatics. The trans activists are angry that Republicans are passing laws protecting children.

For example, there are cases in schools where teachers have referred to students with names of the opposite sex and encouraged them to use restrooms of the opposite sex. This has been done without telling the parents of these students. The Republican laws are aimed at protecting the rights of parents from aggressive teachers that are actively grooming children for the trans cause.

For the lunatic left, this constitutes genocide. Never mind that the undermining of the family has been a policy of every dictatorship ranging from Hitler’s dictatorship to the Soviet Union. America has woken up and hopefully will not go back to sleep.

This past week six people (three of them children) were murdered in a school shooting perpetrated by a “trans” woman. The school was an Evangelical Christian school. The murderer was a former student who reportedly harbored resentment at her Evangelical family’s opposition to transgenderism.

The murders were anti Christian. This has been ignored by the media which continues to espouse the deranged cause of trans psychopaths. Madonna has announced she will perform at a benefit concert for the trans community. Not for the families of the people who were murdered.

Madonna seeks to oppose a law in Tennessee that prohibits drag queens from performing in public places where children are present. Madonna has denounced laws in general that seek to keep LGBT sexual ideology away from children. Madonna recently did a photo shoot with Vanity Fair in which she blasphemously dressed as both Jesus Christ and the Mother of God.

Reasonable people recognize that parents have a right to raise children according to their values. The LGBT activists demonstrate that their entire cause is without reason, logic, or morality. They have demanded and received access to other people’s children in schools and public libraries. They recognize no limits which is demonstrated by their efforts to indoctrinate children.

School libraries include books on homosexuality and transgenderism. Public libraries host shows by drag queens with sexual overtones which are attended by children. The massacre in Nashville was for years preceded by an organized effort from the trans activists to indoctrinate children.

Dylan Mulvaney is a YouTube “performer” who “discovered” he is a woman. He was able to visit the White House and interview Joe Biden. He asked Biden about the legislation passed by Republicans across the country which prohibit transitioning (sex changes) for minors. Joe Biden referred to such legislation as “immoral”.

That says something about Biden and the Democratic Party. In the aftermath of the massacre, attention is given to lunatic trans activists rather than the victims. Madonna, Biden and others who refuse to stop the trans evil are morally complicit in child abuse.

It also indicates the rising threat to all Christians in America and the west.
