Dr. Anthony Fauci was called to testify before the Senate and cited his fifth amendment rights in response to every question he was asked. This speaks poorly of the man once called “America’s Doctor”. Republican Senators got a hold of Fauci’s diary and sought to question the Doctor on his private writings.
Publicly, Fauci denied that Covid originated in the Wuhan lab or that it was man made. He insisted the virus originated in the wet markets of Wuhan. In his journal, Fauci wrote what is now known that the virus was man made and escaped the lab in Wuhan.
Fauci also denied responsibility for closures and responsibilities while public interviews prove his influence on the lockdowns. Fauci took the fifth amendment like a criminal. The Republicans are suggesting he will be cited for contempt. This is correct. Fauci must be held responsible for his actions.
Joe Biden pardoned the Doctor but states can still choose to prosecute Fauci.
