Thoughts and prayers to Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew who has covid. May the Patriarch be in the best of health. It has not been easy criticizing him over Ukraine but as an Orthodox Christian that is part of Constantinople’s flock it has been truly distressing to see a schism forming in Orthodoxy.
Best wishes to the Patriarch. May the Patriarch be stronger and may he reverse course on Ukraine and reconcile with his brother bishops in Russia and Ukraine.

I had not heard the Patriarch had COVID until reading your blog, Ted. I pray the Patriarch recovers soon from this nasty virus.
