Letter To The US Embassy In Athens

Greetings to the American Embassy,

My name is Theodore Karakostas and I am an American Greek Orthodox. I am writing to you to express criticism of his excellency Ambassador Pyatt, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and any others that have interfered blatantly in the spiritual life of the Orthodox Church. The desire to support religious freedom is admirable. Religious freedom means that all people have the right to go to any Church or temple they want without being harassed or subjected to violence and persecution.

What American officials such as Ambassador Pyatt and others have done has nothing to do with religious freedom. There were three versions of Orthodoxy in Ukraine. The proper and ethical viewpoint of the American government should have been to ensure that all are free to go to which particular Church they like. According to ecclesiastical rules and canon law of the Orthodox Church, there is only one legitimate Church in Ukraine. The Ukrainian Orthodox Church under the synod of Metropolitan Onuphry enjoys recognition in Orthodoxy as the canonical Church whose bishops and priests possess apostolic succession and catholicity. Their bishops and priests can trace their succession back to the apostles as other bishops in Orthodoxy do.

It is well known that the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church is disliked by American authorities because it is a part of the Russian Orthodox Church. The Ambassador and other officials of the State Department have no business involving themselves in these matters. Having involved themselves in these Church matters they have made pronouncements on the legitimacy of episcopal consecrations, priestly ordinations and matters of ecclesiology which do not concern secular officials.

The State Department has violated religious freedom for Orthodox Christians in three ways. First, in Ukraine, the State Department has overlooked the forcible seizure of Churches belonging to the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church. It has ignored the violence and beatings that have been directed against clergy and lay people of the legitimate Church by fanatical supporters of a faction that is not considered to be a part of the Orthodox Church according to the strict tenets of canon law. The”hierarchs” and “priests” that American officials support are not real priests because all of them have either been anathematized (excommunicated) or have never been ordained within the authentic Orthodox Church.

Secondly, the intervention in the internal affairs of the Orthodox Church of Greece and the holy mountain of Athos by American officials is seen by myself certainly, and millions of other Orthodox Christians as sacrilege and blasphemy. It is a matter of public record that former Secretary Pompeo travelled to Athens to ask his beatitude Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens to extend recognition to the fake “church” that his all holiness Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople helped to create in December2018. Secretary Pompeo had no business in making this request and the Archbishop had no business granting it. In the Orthodox Church, the faithful are obligated to criticize hierarchs when they violate canon laws and the precepts of the Orthodox Church. In the Orthodox Church, Patriarchs and bishops are not infallible and have often been opposed by righteous faithful in history when they stray.

Neither Patriarch Bartholomew nor Archbishop Ieronymos are above criticism. Both they and other bishops within the Churches of Constantinople and Greece are in the wrong for intervening in Ukrainian Church affairs. The Ukrainian Church is a part of the Russian Orthodox Church and its future is dependent on the Russian Patriarchate as the mother Church. American intervention inside the Churches of Constantinople and Greece for the purposes of pursuing foreign policy goals is an explicit violation of religious freedom. American officials have requested that these Churches violate their own religious precepts for political purposes and they have created divisions between Orthodox Christians of Greek heritage and the rest of the Orthodox world.

Thirdly, there are Orthodox Christians around the world who happen to be under the omophorion (an ecclesiastical word) of the Church of Constantinople. This has put a strain on the spiritual life of Orthodox Christians not at ease with the actions of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Ukraine. There are those who also happen to love the Church and City of Constantinople who are dismayed by the actions that have been undertaken by that Church and who are disturbed by the role of secular officials in prompting them to take actions that should never have been undertaken.

Orthodox Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the leader and founder of the Orthodox Church! The Orthodox Church is not a Church, it is THE Church. We do not think it is proper or correct for secular officials to use the Church that is led by Christ as if it were a political party or a non governmental organization. These are matters that have to do with the sacred and the divine. Some respect is in order by the officials of the State Department.

His excellency Ambassador Pyatt has expressed concern about the “tomos” that was granted to the fake “church” in Ukraine. This is none of his business. The past three years of secular interference with the faith of Christ has created havoc, chaos, and division among Orthodox Christians. Those hierarchs who have become involved in secular politics are not without blame and according to the conciliar tradition of the Orthodox Church they must account for their actions at a future council.

This is my protest as a Greek Orthodox Christian dedicated to the true faith of Christ! Orthodoxy is not a play thing. It is the authentic Church of Christ.

Glory to God!!!!!

On The Spiritual Disgrace Within Greek Orthodoxy

The Eastern Orthodox Church consists of fourteen local Churches that are considered “autocephalous” or self governing. The largest is the Russian Orthodox Church. Other Churches include the Serbian Orthodox Church, Rumanian Orthodox Church, Bulgarian Orthodox Church, and the Georgian Orthodox Church.

Smaller Churches include the Churches of Poland, the Church of the Czecks and Slovaks, and the Albanian Orthodox Church. Several local Churches are formally called Greek Orthodox. The Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch however is not Greek but Arabic and has an Arabic Patriarch and Synod and a flock that speaks Arabic.

The Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem has an ethnic Greek Patriarch and most of its bishops are ethnic Greeks. Its flock is overwhelmingly Arab and this is source of major controversy in itself but outside the scope of the subject matter at hand. The Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria has an ethnic Greek Patriarch and most of its bishops are ethnic Greeks while its flock throughout Africa is overwhelmingly African.

There are in fact only three Churches calling themselves Greek Orthodox that are in fact Greek by ethnicity. These include the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, the Orthodox Church of Greece, and the Orthodox Church of Cyprus. And they are all in spiritual turmoil owing to the politicized Patriarchate of his all holiness Bartholomew I of Constantinople.

Some essential facts. The Orthodox Church is conciliar or synodical in its ecclesial structure. Unlike the Roman Catholic Church, the Orthodox Church does not have one spiritual leader making pronouncements on behalf of the whole Church. The Roman Catholics believe in the infallibility of the Pope. The Orthodox Church accepts the final authority of an ecumenical council in which the universal Church under the authority of the holy spirit makes pronouncements only with the consent and agreement of ALL Churches.

Another fact is that the Orthodox Patriarchs or Primates are equal except in terms of honor. The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople holds first place in the dyptychs or list of Orthodox Churches. The Primate of the Church of Constantinople is commemorated first by his fellow primates who then commemorate other primates according to their rank in the dyptychs. The Patriarch of Constantinople is “first among equals” with a “primacy of honor”.

Holding first place in honor does not give the Ecumenical Patriarch any special authority or right to intervene in the affairs of an autocephalous Church. It is this claim that Constantinople has put fourth that has triggered the schism in Orthodoxy. When Patriarch Bartholomew proceeded to grant autocephaly to Ukraine he blatantly violated Orthodox canon law and made a mockery of Orthodox ecclesiology.

Some facts regarding the Ukrainian question. First, Constantinople ceded the Ukrainian Church to the Russian Church through the issuance of a tomos in 1686. Ukraine has ever since been an inviolable part of the Russian Orthodox Church. The Ecumenical Patriarchate has no business in Ukraine and no right to make any pronouncements regarding the status of Ukrainian Orthodoxy.

Constantinople has further transgressed the canons of the Orthodox Church by sidelining the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Patriarch Bartholomew extended “autocephaly” to two sects that are not part of the Orthodox Church. A “unification council” was convened in December 2018 that supposedly created an autocephalous entity calling itself “Orthodox Church of Ukraine” (OCU). The “bishops” at this pseudo-council were either formally anathematized by the Russian Orthodox Church or they were never ordained and consecrated by the Orthodox Church.

There are a variety of sects throughout Orthodoxy claiming to be “Orthodox” but are not. These sects that Patriarch Bartholomew recognized are sects, not an Orthodox Church. The situation has gotten more bizarre as the “OCU” suffered a schism soon after its creation. The leader of that schism has subsequently received some old calendar sects in Greece under his omophorion. This entire affair from the beginning has been nothing other than a farce.

There has still not been full documentation of the extent to which secular interests from Ukraine and America worked to provoke the schism. It is a certainty that Kiev and Washington have interfered in internal Church matters to weaken the Russian Orthodox Church as part of its campaign of Russophobia. On the day of this writing, the State Department has accused Russia of using Orthodoxy as a political instrument.

This is laughable considering American intervention not only in the affairs of the Church of Constantinople, but in the affairs of the Church of Greece. Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo travelled to Athens in the fall of 2019 to urge Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens to recognize the sect that is the “OCU”. Within the Church of Greece, there was widespread opposition to recognizing the “OCU”. A dozen bishops spoke against recognition citing canon law and Church history.

Theologians, monastics, priests, and laypeople signed a petition that was sent to the holy synod urging it not to recognize the “OCU”. In the end, the cowardly Archbishop of Athens and other bishops chose to recognize the abomination in Ukraine disguising itself as an Orthodox Church. It is to be assumed that the Patriarchate of Alexandria and the Archbishop of Cyprus recognized the “OCU” as a result of pressure from Patriarch Bartholomew and his secular allies in Athens and Washington.

The schism worsened when Patriarch Theodore of Alexandria concelebrated together with the fake primate of the “OCU”. The Russian Church has previously severed communion with Constantinople but maintained communion with some parts of the Churches of Greece and Cyprus in recognition of the fact that there are bishops in those Churches that have been outspoken in their condemnation of the “OCU” and recognize only the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Throughout this entire crisis, the canonical Church in Ukraine has been fiercely persecuted. Their Churches have been seized, clergy and faithful have been the victims of violence, and attempts have been made by Ukrainian authorities to force the canonical Church to change its name. It is a dishonor for Greeks to be associated with the persecution of brother Orthodox Christians, but the primates of Constantinople, Alexandria, Athens, and Nicosia have made Greeks complicit in this persecution.

The Russian Church has proceeded to establish an exarchate in Africa. Whether this was wise or not is unclear. The fact remains that one hundred and two African Orthodox priests asked to be received into the Russian Orthodox Church because they recognize Alexandria has betrayed Orthodoxy by entering into communion with and concelebrating with a sect of anathematized and unordained blasphemers.

Patriarch Theodore had travelled to Ukraine after the crisis in the Church broke out in 2018. He concelebrated the liturgy with canonical bishops and priests and urged the faithful to remain in the canonical Church. Now, in the aftermath of the establishment of the Russian exarchate in Africa he is bitterly insulting and condemning the Russians seemingly unconcerned with his own hypocrisy and cowardice.

One of Patriarch Bartholomew’s bishops in the city of Drama in Greece has expressed anti Russian feelings. The bishops of Constantinople are very clearly motivated by jealousy and resentment. They have betrayed Orthodoxy and the great spiritual heritage of Constantinople.

From a Hellenic point of view, all this nastiness emanating from Greek Patriarchs and bishops is a betrayal of Hellenism as well as Orthodoxy. Those who collaborate with western secular interests against Orthodox Russia have betrayed Christ. They have also betrayed the sovereignty of Greece.

Greek politicians have traditionally betrayed the national interests of Greece. The Patriarchs and their bishops who support them have betrayed the faith of Christ! A much more serious betrayal.

Among the great powers, only Russia has never interfered in Greek domestic affairs or done any harm to Greece. Russophobia is a western obsession. Russophobia and anti Russian sentiments are not compatible with Hellenic interests.

Traditionally, the bishops of Greece have stood up against the Turks, the Nazis, and the Communists. The Greek bishops of our own day succumbed to the State Department! Gone are the days when Archbishop Christodoulos condemned the secularization of Greece and the bombing of Orthodox Serbia. Gone are the days when Archbishop Christodoulos stood up to the Patriarchate’s invasion of the Church of Greece.

The late Archbishop (his memory be eternal) sided with the Russian Church when Patriarch Bartholomew created a crisis in Estonia. What a shame to see how Greek speaking Orthodoxy is faring today. What a disgrace!

Greek President Stands Up To Turkey

Greek President Sakellaropoulou was present for a design that will be established as ahall to memorialize the genocide of the Pontian Greeks. The Turkish government criticized the Greek President. To her credit, the President affirmed the historic truth of the Greek genocide.

One of the things that Greece can be grateful for is that it has good leadership today. Gone are the days of Costas Simitis and George Papandreou. In 2001, then Prime Minister Simitis refused to support a resolution in Parliament that would have recognized the Greek genocide.

Things have changed in Greece. Things are not perfect but much better than in the past. Much improved leadership under the President and Prime Minister Mitsotakis.

Turkish Allies

https://www.business-standard.com/article/international/pakistan-china-turkey-nexus-a-cause-of-serious-concern-for-greece-122011500239_1.html

The Pakistanis are making it clear they support Turkey and support Turkish aggression in Cyprus. Greece has been very hospitable to Pakistani and other immigrants who have chosen to enter Greece illegally. Greece has shown good will and understanding to Pakistan in light of the fact that Athens has accepted their citizens.

Greece should begin the process of breaking diplomatic ties with Pakistan. Pakistan is now actively supporting Turkey as can be seen by statements of Pakistani officials in the article linked above. It also appears that China may be moving close to Turkey.

Turkey and China have much in common. They are criminal regimes guilty of genocide and crimes against humanity in the previous century. Turkey has been the recipient of American aid and assistance despite its genocidal history. China likewise today is the beneficiary of western hypocrisy whose scientists have bestowed aid on China despite massive human rights violations by the Chinese Communist Party.

The Erdogan regime claims the islands of Greece. That same regime ignores the soft genocide of Ughyur Muslims in China who are confined to concentration camps. Murderous regimes generally support one another.

All hope is not lost. Greece has friends in the Muslim world. Greece has friendly relations with Egypt, United Arab Emirates, and with Saudi Arabia. The Ecumenical Patriarchate has been engaging in destructive behavior over the past four years.

One of the few bright signs is the Patriarchate received a visit from a former Iranian President. Greeks have traditionally had friendly relations with Iran. It is important for Greeks to maintain these close ties with Muslim countries. Greece does not have any conflicts with Islam, but with Turkey.

Greek Orthodox Archbishops Serapheim and Christodoulos of Athens had established friendly relations and discussions with Iranian leaders in the past. More crucially, Iran is an ally of Russia and Syria. It would be to the interests of Greece to maintain friendly relations with Iran, Russia, and Syria.

Greek interests are based on resisting Turkish aggression. Relationships with all states should be based on their stances toward Greece’s interests in Cyprus and the Aegean. Russia in particular has reemphasized its support for Cyprus.

Greece needs to define its list of enemies and allies very carefully.

Democrats Coup?

New York Times Columnist Thomas Friedman has suggested that President Biden remove Kamala Harris as Vice President and replace her with Elizabeth Cheney. This comes in the aftermath of reports that Hillary Clinton may seek the nomination of the Democratic Party in 2024. Hillary’s plans are a major slap to Biden who does not seem to realize that Democrats are abandoning him.

The Friedman suggestion which is taken less seriously than Hillary’s also seems to recommend a revolt against Harris as well. This whole thing is pathetic and exposes the Democrats as focusing on nothing other than fighting Trump even though the former President has been out of office for a year. The odious Democrats are seeking alliances with the more odious elements of the Republican Party.

One is reminded that the late Republican Candidate for President John McCain wanted Democrat Joseph Lieberman for a running mate. This was an example of how the lines between the parties was beginning to blur. Warmonger McCain wanted warmonger Lieberman for a running mate.

In 2016, dozens of Republican neocons endorsed Hillary Clinton’s Presidential campaign. Donald Trump’s election really shook things up. McCain made very clear that he despised Trump. The losing faction of the Republican Party has for some time been forming a partnership with the Democrats.

Take for example, Elizabeth Cheney. She is as much of warmonger as her father whose views she shares. Since the January 6 clown show of a year ago she has won praise from Democrats and the media for her opposition to Trump. Her extreme foreign policy views have either been forgotten or are actually shared by pro war Democrats.

One of the biggest mistakes Donald Trump made was to appoint John Bolton as national security advisor. Bolton has always been an aggressive pro war advocate and psychopath. He did his best to undermine Trump’s negotiations with North Korea and to start a war with Iran.

Trump did the right thing and fired him. Bolton subsequently gained the sympathy of Democrats and the media when he spoke against Donald Trump. He later wrote a book attacking Trump. The narcissistic psychopath was well treated by the media who ignored his extreme and fanatical views because they like anyone who is against Trump.

Friedman’s recommendation that Elizabeth Cheney be made Vice President is insane. It is stupid and the more principled liberals are rightfully mocking Friedman for making this suggestion. The media and the Democrats can’t shut up about the capital riots.

They seem to have forgotten the far greater disaster that was the Iraq war which Dick Cheney helped mastermind. Elizabeth Cheney is not her father but she shares her father’s foreign policy views. In no circumstances should she ever be allowed to serve as President or Vice President.

On the other hand, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden voted in favor of the Iraq war in 2003. Unlike all of these people, Donald Trump has clean hands and did not start any wars. Donald Trump’s Presidency was one of moderation and peace.

We have a President today who is clearly limited by his mental health issues. As such, he is the target of the predator Hillary Clinton. Unlikeable as Biden is, Hillary would be a worse President.

Democrats are starting a revolution in their own party. The power hungry Hillary is going after the senile Biden. Friedman advocates replacing Kamala Harris with Elizabeth Cheney. What does it say about the Biden administration and the Democratic Party that they are discussing regime change barely a year into the Biden administration?

Bring On Hillary

There is speculation that Hillary Clinton would like to run for President again in 2024. That would be a good thing as Donald Trump would crush and humiliate her again. Considering the vile attempt to overturn the 2016 elections with the bogus Russian collusion myth it would be nice to see her career terminated at the hands of Donald Trump.

The Clintons are narcissists. Bill Clinton would do anything to return to the White House. He would take a job as the White House maid if it meant being at the center of power again. The Clintons have no shame.

Hillary Clinton is so in love with herself that she cannot comprehend that the media cannot help her. The media did what they could in 2016 to elevate her into the White House. Except, democracy worked and Trump won despite the media.

The voters do not like her. Four years of lies about Russian collusion and attempts to discredit Trump only succeeded in 2020 to the benefit of Joe Biden, not Hillary. In order to defeat Trump, it took the combined effort of the national media to suppress information about the corruption of Hunter Biden, the deaths of elderly people in New York rest homes under Governor Andrew Cuomo, and covid to determine the election outcome.

If Hillary had been the candidate, Trump might still have prevailed. Hillary is unlikeable and people are tired of political dynasties. The Clintons, Bushes, Cheney’s, and soon enough the Biden’s will be history.

The Clintons have been with us since 1992. We endured Clinton’s corruption and his vile behavior with a twenty one year old intern in the oval office. It was perjury and obstruction of justice that nearly got him impeached, not sex. If there is anything that Hillary did accomplish it was to discredit and expose the majority of feminists as the frauds that they are.

Hillary stood by a husband that has been credibly accused of sexual assault by several women. Most feminists demonstrated they would support any sexual predator in politics in the name of protecting abortion “rights”. Journalist Christopher Hitchens attacked Clinton from the left and exposed him as the reprehensible and unprincipled creep that he is. Hitchens made a convincing case that the bombings of Afghanistan and Sudan during the summer of 1998 were intended to take attention away from his sex scandal.

Hillary herself produced catastrophes at the international level. As Secretary of State she supported the overthrow of the Libyan government that turned that country into a failed state in which Al Quada and ISIS would establish a presence. She and her campaign were ready and willing to increase tensions with Russia in order to promote the lie that Russia stole the election for Trump.

Clinton political ally Paul Begala in 2017 called for Trump to bomb Russia in order to prove he was not owned by the Russians. These are the psychopaths that support the Clintons. Hillary became a United States Senator and Secretary of State because of her sexual predator husband’s influence.

I hope she does run for President. No matter how much the media works to support her, she will lose badly. People do not want the Clintons to return. Donald Trump will destroy her and such a humiliation will be well deserved. A second Trump victory over Hillary will be a nice and final commentary on the Clintons.

Regaining Honor Through Humility

Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem has been raising the alarm about the dangers facing the Christian populations of the holy land. Activities from right wing Israeli settler groups appear to threaten the existence of Christians in the holy land. A show of support for the Jerusalem Patriarchate is coming from the Russian Church.

Patriarch Kyril of Moscow has expressed his support for the Patriarchate of Jerusalem and has reacted to the recent message of the Patriarch by expressing the full support of the Russian Church. It should be remembered that the Russian government and Church played significant roles in saving the Patriarchate of Antioch from destruction. We have therefore a potential model for how relations between the Russian Church and the ancient Patriarchates should be conducted.

Jerusalem is enjoying warm ties with Russia. Jerusalem has always had warm ties with Russia. This can be seen by the references by priests in the Russian Church to Jerusalem as the “mother of Churches.” The Amman synod conducted two years ago under the auspices of the Patriarch of Jerusalem as a means of addressing the Ukrainian schism showed the Patriarch of Jerusalem as a statesman in Orthodoxy.

Jerusalem maintains the traditional Orthodox calendar. It is close with the Russians. The Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR) has a presence in the holy land and has always been friendly with the Patriarchate of Jerusalem. Jerusalem and Antioch have excellent relations with the Russian Church.

Constantinople and Alexandria could learn from Antioch and Jerusalem. The Russians respect the ancient status of Antioch and Jerusalem, as they do Constantinople and Alexandria. If the latter two were to be satisfied with their honorary statuses the schism could be healed.

Jerusalem and Antioch are respected because of their moral stances and the way they relate to other Churches (especially Moscow). Constantinople’s arrogance and Alexandria’s treachery have been very costly for those Patriarchal sees. They regain their honor when they regain their humility.

The Schism, Omicron, And Orthodoxy

At a time when the world is in chaos from omicron and human suffering is increasing because of this pandemic and because of the pressure and strain from lockdowns and restrictions, the Orthodox Church is mired in ecclesiastical disputes. To be sure, Patriarch Bartholomew has the ultimate responsibility for the schism. But the Russian Church has escalated the crisis by creating an exarchate in Africa at the expense of the Alexandrian Patriarchate.

The Orthodox Church is the true Church. The problem is the world does not know this. The fact that the Church is in a near schism does not help matters and weakens its witness in the present world. Patriarch Bartholomew is not likely to be reasonable any time soon. The Russian Church could at least put a freeze on its activities in Africa pending an easing of the health crisis around the world.

Archbishop Anastasios of Albania has commented on the escalating division in Orthodoxy. The Archbishop has reminded us that he predicted with the passing of time the schism would more likely become permanent. Metropolitan Serapheim of Greece has also commented and suggested that the Russian Church should not consider Alexandria in schism as that local Church has not been condemned by a council.

Considering the great crisis that omicron poses the Churches might consider concentrating more on teaching the gospel at this time and leaving the crisis on the side temporarily. The Russian Church happens to be in the right but should suspend its African undertaking for the purpose of emphasizing the necessity of combating omicron and providing relief.

As a result of the pandemic, Orthodoxy has the opportunity to bring light in to a darkened world by practicing the gospel and sharing the faith with a suffering world. Furthermore, theologians should rise to the occasion to address the sins of science in the twenty first century. The funding provided by western scientists to the Wuhan lab raises moral questions that theologians and the Church generally must address.

The misbehavior of scientists is a challenge to faith. The Church should focus on confronting the scientific community for its crimes against humanity. Over five million people around the world are dead. Churches were closed two years ago, and might again conceivably close.

The opportunity is at hand to condemn the evils wrought by secular and anti Christian scientists and to provide witness of the light of Christ in a time of darkness. The Orthodox Church must come together at this crucial time.

Patriarch Bartholomew often discusses climate change and global warming. Perhaps he should take an interest in gain of function research and the catastrophic results it has had for man, God’s most favored creation? Perhaps all Orthodox Churches can also condemn the soft genocide against the Ughyurs?

America’s Doctor And The Scientific Community

Anthony Fauci returned to the Senate to testify and engaged in a very bitter and partisan exchange with Republican Senators Rand Paul and Roger Marshall that represent Kentucky and Kansas respectively. As the lives of Americans are once again being disrupted by omicron it is infuriating to watch “America’s Doctor” behaving like a politician. He referred to Senator Marshall as a “moron”.

Mr. Fauci has become a very angry and bitter old man. This is not the man who should be responsible for dealing with the threat of covid. Understandably, Fauci is angry because he has received death threats and in December one lunatic was arrested for planning to murder him. Certainly, threats and murder attempts deserve to be condemned.

Senator Paul referred to the attempted murders of Republican members of Congress in 2017 by a supporter of Bernie Sanders and pointed out that Republicans do not blame Sanders for the actions of one lunatic. Fauci attempted to blame Senator Paul for the actions of the lunatic that was arrested last month. Fauci like a skilled politician is attempting to deflect attention from his responsibilities for funding gain of function research in China.

Threats are odious and vile but are common for public officials and politicians, religious leaders, celebrities, and many others. Fauci has the option of resigning if he believes the pressures of his job are too much for him. He is eighty years old and has been in his present position for thirty seven years.

There are those of us who are angry because our lives have been disrupted. Fauci is being criticized for using the taxes of Americans and sending them to China to fund the infamous lab in Wuhan. Senator Paul and others cited evidence that showed Fauci and Frances Collins at the National Institute of Health silenced and intimidated colleagues who suggested the origins of the virus were not natural but was created by humans at the lab in Wuhan.

The self pitying little man who the media calls “America’s Doctor” believes he is unaccountable. A few months ago he dismissed criticism of himself by suggesting those who criticize him are criticizing science. He reminds one of the Jack Nicholson character in “A few Good Men” who lost his composure and began ranting.

Both Fauci and the scientific community have much to answer for. Unfortunately, the propaganda machine that is the media will never hold them to account. Scientific arrogance can be seen by the disregard for the average person whose money they have used to help bring about a pandemic that has deprived that person of his personal freedom.

The ultimate hypocrisy of Fauci and his fellow scientists (the ones who support him) and most liberals can be seen by their collaboration with the most evil government on earth. Why were they even working with the Chinese?

China is one of the most ruthless governments in the world. Political prisoners are murdered with a bullet to the head. The families are then taxed to pay for the bullet. Many have referred to the “soft genocide” under way against the Chinese Muslims known as “Ughyurs”. These are a Turkic people that are now in concentration camps and are brutally tortured and repressed.

The scientific community have no interest in the mass human rights violations in China. That they were supporting any activities in China indicates how immoral scientists really are. Funding anything in China today would be the equivalent of funding activities in Hitler’s Germany in 1935. There are certain regimes that are so obviously evil that there can be no justification for funding them.

The media and the Democrats have overhyped the pathetic and ridiculous capital riots of last year. They have ignored the much more sinister realities that have transpired within the scientific community and the growing political influence of “America’s Doctor”. The man we must not criticize.

Dick Cheney On The Republican Party

Former Vice President and architect of the Iraq war Dick Cheney criticized today’s Republican Party. He said he is disappointed in the leadership of today’s Party. Daughter Elizabeth Cheney referred to a “cult of personality”. The Cheney’s were in Washington for the first anniversary of the capital hill riots.

The riots last year were certainly not a good thing, and it was not Donald Trump’s finest hour. It was also not quite the threat to democracy that Democrats and neocons think it was. The real threat to democracy was the attempted coup/impeachment against Trump in early 2020 but that is another story.

The capital hill riots when all is said and done were a very minor affair. Compared to the Iraq war which Cheney aggressively supported, the riots are of no significance. The invasion of Iraq led to the deaths of countless Iraqi lives in a civil war followed by the further horrors and mass murders perpetrated by “Al Quada in Mesopotomia” and its Islamic State successor.

One third of Iraq (and later one third of Syria) would be occupied by Islamic State. Shiite Muslims, Christians, and Yazidis were slaughtered in cold blood. The Iraq war gave life to radical jihadists. Dick Cheney and his associates such as Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, Douglas Feith, Condoleeza Rice and others had fantasies about “democracy” in the middle east.

The Iraq war was a disastrous failure. The rise of Donald Trump within the Republican Party was historically welcome as this led to the downfall of the war criminals of the Bush-Cheney era. In 2016, it became fairly obvious that Trump’s rise was a threat to the neocons. Neoconservative Max Boot wrote an op ed in the New York Times endorsing Hillary Clinton’s candidacy for President.

Hundreds of pro war neocons would subsequently support Hillary’s candidacy. Hillary would have delivered the wars that they wanted. The cabal of pro war schemers like John Bolton and others working in the shadows represent a far greater threat to American democracy than the mobs of January 6, 2021.

Dick Cheney said the present Republican leadership does not resemble the Republicans he knew when he was a Congressman. His Republicans left to support Hillary Clinton’s Presidential Campaign in 2016. His Republicans made very clear that they do not like Donald Trump who very much enjoys the support of conservatives today.

The Bush-Cheney administration created the climate for Islamic State to establish its “Caliphate”. Islamic State went on to terrorize and bomb Paris, London, and Belgium. American cities were also the victims of Islamic State attacks as well from California to Florida. The January 6 riots cannot be compared in any serious way to the devastation wrought by the Bush-Cheney administration.

Good riddance to the Cheney family. Good riddance to the Clintons, and good riddance to the Bush family. In 2024 at the latest we will say good riddance to the Bidens.
